Intrigued by finance, Jacob began his career in 2019 working at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York, NY where he mentored under the Barrett Group and helped service over $1.6bn for ultra-high net worth clients & a handful of institutional accounts.

Later in 2021, while trading for an online prop firm, he qualified for $400k worth of live funds in a timed evaluation with a proprietary trading strategy that helped him reach the top 1% of online traders. Achieving a 10% profit during the challenge phase and a separate 5% profit under verification, he adhered to time and drawdown rule constraints.

In that same year, Jacob co-founded a unique dating app that grew to over 16k MAU users where he led the B2B model and focused on onboarding local restaurants and bars to boost foot traffic to their locations. After establishing a partnership with OpenTable, the company reached a $10 million post-money valuation.
